We used the Gîte Les Estinnes as a base to visit the Caranaval de Binche. It was a great choice as the Gîte was much more comfortable, with better facilities, than any hotel in the town and getting from Estinnes to Binche took less than 10 minutes. That made the choice of Gîte Les Estinnes worth it alone. However, the location offers the extra benefits of being only a few minutes from the Abbaye de Bonne-Espérance – a must see – as well as offering great walking and cycling routes only a few meters from the door. On top of this, it’s a value for money alternative to staying in Mons, which is less than 15 minutes away.

Our visit was made even better by the charming and ever helpful Pascal, who was always on hand to help if we didn’t understand how something worked.

I would strongly recommend and is particularly an attractive alternative to the hotels I’ve used in the area.

A very cozy, well equipped and extremely clean place . Very helpful and knowledgeable owner . One may visit the countryside around (the RAVEL is barely 200 m away) or go see beautiful Mons or Binche (carnaval) or (why not?) Brussels. We will return.

Un endroit si agréable que l'ont a pas envie d'en partir... des hôtes accueillants, aux petits soins et très discrets.
Juste une envie de revenir à la belle saison pour faire un peu de tourisme et découvrir un peu plus la Belgique.
L'endroit est de toute beauté, gîte décoré et aménagé au top!
